How MedIdentity works
Set up your record once, in an evening, from documents you already have. After that it takes minutes a month to keep current.
Step 1
Drop in your documents
Start with your CV, then add whatever you have: licenses, board certificates, BLS and ACLS cards, diplomas, letters, CME certificates. PDFs, Word files and phone photos all work. Every original is kept exactly as you uploaded it.
A drop zone accepting a CV, licenses, certificates and phone photos. Step 2
Review what we found
For each document we suggest entries for your record. You accept, edit or reject each one, and nothing is added until you do. When a document disagrees with your record, we show both side by side and you choose.
A new document disagrees with the record about a residency end date. Both values are shown side by side for the physician to choose. Step 3
Your record, with sources
Every fact shows where it came from: which document and page, or that you entered it yourself, and when you confirmed it. When we map a document's wording to your record, we say so plainly so you can check it.
A license certificate is dropped in. MedIdentity suggests a license entry, and after the physician accepts it, the entry shows its source. Step 4
Stay ahead of expirations and CME
We track every expiration and remind you well ahead, at intervals you choose. CME certificates are counted against the renewal cycles you set up. Reminder emails never contain the details of your credentials.
A reminder email that says a credential expires in 30 days without naming which one.
Coming next: applications, done for you
Next, MedIdentity will help complete credentialing and licensing applications from your record, for you to review and sign. It isn’t available yet. Pilot physicians will help shape it.
