Privacy Policy
Who we are
MedIdentity helps physicians keep a single, current record of their professional history.
To complete with counsel: legal entity name, address and contact for privacy questions.
What we collect
Waitlist: your name, email, career stage, specialty, states of practice, what’s coming up for you, and anything you choose to tell us.
Physicians using the app: the professional record you build (education, training, work history, affiliations, licenses, registrations, certifications, malpractice coverage and history, references and CME), the documents you upload, and a history of activity on your account.
Optional sensitive identifiers, only if you choose to add them: your date of birth and DEA registration number. We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or citizenship or immigration status. If you keep a photo of your driver’s license, the license number is blacked out before it is uploaded.
How we use it
To provide the service to you: building and maintaining your record, reminding you of expirations, tracking CME, and contacting you about your account. We do not sell your data.
To complete with counsel: legal bases, if applicable; use of aggregate, non-identifying pilot metrics.
Service providers
We use providers for hosting, database and file storage, email, and AI document reading. They process data only to provide their service to us. Our AI provider does not train on your data.
To complete with counsel: list of providers, their roles, and data locations.
Your choices
You can view, export and delete your record at any time. You can leave the waitlist by using the link in any waitlist email.
Retention and deletion
To complete with counsel: retention periods, backup deletion timing, and how deletion requests are handled.
Security
See our Security & privacy page for how we protect your record.
To complete with counsel: breach notification commitments consistent with applicable state law.
Changes and contact
To complete with counsel: how changes are announced; effective date; contact details.
